หนังสือ '28 พระอรหันต์แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์' กล่าวถึงประวัติและปฏิปทาของพระกรรมฐาน 28 รูป อันน่ายกย่อง หนังสือยังแสดงภาพอัฐิของท่านเหล่านี้ที่ได้กลายเป็นพระธาตุ ตามความเชื่อทางพุทธศาสนาแล้ว ถือว่าการที่อัฐิกลายเป็นพระธาตุคือประจักษ์พยานทางวัตถุที่ยืนยันว่าครูบาอาจารย์รูปนั้นๆ ได้สำเร็จมรรคผลนิพพานแล้ว พระธาตุของพระเกจิอาจารย์สายป่า 28 รูปนี้ได้รับการอัญเชิญมาประดิษฐานอยู่ที่พระธุตังคเจดีย์ วัดอโศการาม (จัดทำโดยคณะพระมหาธีรนาถ วัดป่าภูผาสูง)
The book '28 Arahanta in Krung Rattanakosin Era' includes the biographies and the paths of practice of 28 highly revered Buddhist Venerables in Thailand. The book shows their relics, which according to Buddhist belief is a proof that particular monks attained Arahantaship. The relics of 28 Buddhist masters have been kept and displayed at Tutanga Jaedi (or Pagoda of Tudong) at Asokaram temple in Thailand.
* A relic is a bone like object that appears or gets transformed from hair, ashes, etc of Arahanta monks. It was believed that the purity and clarity of the Buddhist master's mind help polishing their body.
